Unfamiliar customers
The Philippines is a great tourist destination. At the end of 2023, we met a client from the Philippines who was looking for a supplier of concrete mixers. There are many suppliers of 350L concrete mixers in China, and competition is fierce.
Although we are a professional concrete mixer manufacturer, there are many excellent factories like ours. When customers are communicating with so many suppliers online and lack understanding of each other, why should they choose us over them? Are we better than other suppliers? What is the appeal of ASOK?
Initial communication
On December 30, 2023, we posted a video on YouTube about our concrete mixer, explaining its various functions and operating instructions.
On January 5, 2023, five days after we posted the video, ROMEO watched it and asked, “How much is this concrete mixer?” So we added him on WhatsApp. We wanted to say hello and sent him a product catalog, along with relevant videos and pictures.
On January 7, 2023, ROMEO responded, expressing interest in our 350L concrete mixer. We didn’t provide a quote; we simply asked for information about the mixer and any questions he needed our help with.
A week later, on January 15, 2023, ROMEO responded. We needed information about the mixer’s power, mixing capacity, drum speed, and mixing intensity. We answered his questions in detail and extended our greetings.
On January 16, 2023, we visited our mixer factory and had a video call with ROMEO. We took ROMEO on a video tour of our factory, explaining its scale, production efficiency, floor space, and the mixer manufacturing process. We also asked ROMEO questions about how our materials differ from those of other factories. We invited our professional engineers to discuss the details.
February 9, 2024, fell on Chinese New Year’s Eve. The workers and the factory were closed, and all employees stayed home for the holiday. ROMEO responded with a letter, expressing interest in signing a contract for 20 350L concrete mixers. We were happy to work with them. We agreed on overtime hours, planned to sign the contract with ROMEO, and offered them a discount. ROMEO was delighted and paid a 30% advance that same day. That’s how the deal was concluded.
ROMEO receives the goods
On February 10, 2024, the factory urgently resumed operations. We had concrete mixers in stock in China, but fewer than 20, with a projected shortage of eight. Our workers spent three days during the Spring Festival holiday to produce eight concrete mixers.
On February 13, 2024, we shipped the goods from the factory to Ningbo Port, and loading went smoothly.
On February 20, 2024, the goods arrived safely in the Philippines after seven days, and ROMEO received them safely a day later.
ROMEO used a concrete mixer for the first time
Today was the first time ROMEO and his friends operated an ASOK 350L concrete mixer.
First, they cleaned the cavity with mortar, scraped off the mortar, and placed gravel, sand, cement, and other materials into the mixer in the desired proportions.
They then started the mixer and mixed all the ingredients until they were evenly mixed. Water was gradually added during the mixing process, and after adding water, they continued mixing until the materials were uniform before pouring the concrete.
ROMEO followed the operating procedures and instructions in the manual closely. Although it was his first time, he was very successful, as shown in the following figure:
During the operation, ROMEO raised several questions, including questions about remote guidance and proper mixing ratios. Our salesperson communicated with him via video and explained the details. ROMEO was very satisfied with our service and considered us an ideal partner.

We politely replied to ROMEO, saying he could contact us anytime with any questions. After we hung up, ROMEO gave us a five-star rating.

Concrete Mixer Tips
1. Usage process of concrete mixer
1. Before using the mixer, flush the chamber with a small amount of mortar and scrape off any excess mortar. Cement mortar adhering to the chamber walls must not be lost during the actual concrete mixing process.
2. Weigh the various concrete raw materials as needed and add gravel, sand, and cement to the mixer in that order.
3. Start the mixer and mix the materials until they are evenly mixed. Slowly add water during mixing. The total mixing time should not exceed 2 minutes.
4. Continue stirring for approximately 2 minutes after adding water. Then pour the mixture onto a steel plate and manually stir for approximately 1 to 2 minutes to achieve a uniform mixture.
5. After the test, turn off the power and clean the instrument.
2. Operation method and precautions of concrete mixer
1. The mixer should be placed in a stable location and securely supported with a stand or casters. Mixers with tires should also be secured to prevent movement.
2. Before starting the mixer, check that the equipment controls and components are intact and that there are no foreign objects inside the mixing drum.
3. When the mixer truck hopper is raised, no one is allowed to pass or remain under the hopper. The hopper should be secured after get off work hours.
4. Do not insert tools into the mixing drum while the mixer is operating.
5. During on-site maintenance, the concrete mixer hopper must be secured during a power outage. When entering the mixing drum for maintenance, someone must be present outside for supervision.
